Tempo vs. Healing Hands HH Works: Tops and Joggers

Already familiar with Healing Hands and curious about Tempo? Start with two everyday choices: a V-neck top and a jogger pant. Tempo’s T101 and T202 use a polyester, rayon and spandex blend. HH Works Monica 2500 and Renee 9575 use polyester and spandex. The pocket layouts and waistbands give you more to compare than the brand names alone.

We carry Tempo scrubs and HH Works by Healing Hands. This guide compares those four women’s styles using manufacturer specifications and current product information. Healing Hands has several collections; the details here apply to HH Works, not every Healing Hands garment.

Compare the tops: Tempo T101 and HH Works Monica

If you like lower front pockets, both tops are worth a look. Tempo T101 has a curved V-neck, two angled patch pockets, a shoulder bungee loop, a back yoke and side panels. Its back vents are another detail to check in the product photos.

HH Works Monica 2500 has a V-neck with front princess seams and a curved hem. Its storage includes front patch pockets and cell-phone storage, without a chest pocket. If where you keep your phone matters more than the overall pocket count, compare those openings and positions before choosing.

Neither top needs to be the automatic winner. T101 gives you the two-pocket layout and shoulder loop; Monica gives you a different front seam pattern and storage arrangement. Start with the details you already use on your current top.

Compare the joggers: Tempo T202 and HH Works Renee

Tempo T202 has a full elastic knit waistband, a contrast drawstring and knit cuffs. Its six-pocket layout is evenly divided: two front slant pockets, two back yoke-seam pockets and two angled side patch pockets.

HH Works Renee 9575 is also a jogger. Its manufacturer lists five pockets, including back and welt cargo storage, with an elastic waistband. That makes pocket placement a useful starting point: look at which side you reach for and whether you prefer an angled patch opening or welt cargo storage.

If you want two side patch pockets and a clearly documented knit waistband and cuff combination, begin with T202. If Renee’s five-pocket arrangement suits what you carry, compare that layout and your selected size before deciding. A higher pocket count does not by itself make a better work pant.

What does the different fabric blend tell you?

Tempo includes 16% rayon in the listed blend for these styles; the two HH Works styles do not list rayon. HH Works lists a higher spandex percentage, but the percentages alone do not tell you which garment stretches farther, feels softer or lasts longer. Fabric construction and garment design matter too.

If you already wear HH Works, Tempo is a different blend to consider rather than a like-for-like fabric replacement. When you can compare garments in person, feel the fabrics and try the movements you normally make at work. This is a specification comparison, not a wear or wash test.

Check size and pant length separately

Do not transfer your usual letter size from one line to the other without checking measurements. Use each manufacturer’s own measuring instructions: a body-size chart and a garment inseam answer different questions.

Tempo publishes an official size and measurement guide (PDF). HH Works body measurements are available in the size-guide section on the Monica and Renee product pages. Follow the instructions for the line you are choosing rather than combining measurements from two charts.

The current T202 page lists regular, petite and tall fit groups; Renee 9575 currently lists regular and petite. Those style-level listings do not promise that every size or length is available in every color. Choose a color, then check the actual size and fit options offered.

If you prefer a chest-pocket top or a flare

The Tempo range we carry also includes T102, named the one-pocket top, and T203, the flare-leg pant. They offer other ways to explore the new line if front-pocket tops or cuffed joggers are not what you want. This comparison stays with T101 and T202 rather than treating those different shapes as interchangeable.

Choose the details that suit your uniform

  • Start with Tempo T101 and T202 if you want to explore the rayon-containing blend, a two-front-pocket top and a six-pocket jogger.
  • Start with HH Works Monica and Renee if their pocket placement, construction and current price ranges line up with what you are looking for.
  • Before buying either: check your workplace’s color requirements, use the correct size guide and confirm the exact style, color and size. Similar color names across lines do not establish a matching set.

Tempo is available through Uniform Country in-store and online. Our stores are in Roanoke and Charlottesville, Virginia. Call ahead if you want a particular garment, color or size available to compare in person.
